Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

SplashCannon (operated by Cutline Studios — “we”, “us”) runs this pre-launch page to let you reserve a spot on our early-bird list. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language.

What we collect

We do not collect payment information on this page. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; this list is for adults.

What we use it for

We never sell your email for money, and we never post fake counts of it. We do, however, share some data with advertising partners as described below — and you can opt out any time.

Who processes it

Your data is stored and processed by service providers we use to run this page: Vercel (hosting), Airtable (waitlist storage), n8n (automation), Resend (email delivery), PostHog and Vercel Analytics (analytics), and — when ads are running — Meta and TikTok advertising pixels for measuring ad performance. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

Cookies & pixels

We use analytics and (when campaigns are live) advertising pixels — including the TikTok and Meta pixels — that may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and conversions. You can block these with browser settings or extensions and the page still works. To turn the advertising pixels off directly, use “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer.

Sharing for advertising

When ad campaigns are running, the advertising pixels above disclose limited personal information to TikTok and Meta so we can measure conversions and reach similar audiences. Under the California CPRA this is considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and under other US state laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and others) it is “targeted advertising.” We do not share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16 without opt-in consent. The categories involved:

We share these with TikTok and Meta (advertising) under their own privacy terms; see the TikTok Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy. We do not share special/sensitive categories of personal information.

Data retention

We keep waitlist data until launch and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics and advertising data are retained per each provider’s standard retention settings.

Your choices

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money, but we do shareit for cross-context behavioral advertising as described above — opt out via “Your Privacy Choices” or a GPC signal.

Other US states (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana and more): you may opt out of targeted advertising using the same control, and request access or deletion by contacting us.

EU/UK visitors: our lawful basis for the waitlist is consent (you typed your email in); you may withdraw it any time using the contacts above. We do not currently target ads to EU/UK visitors.

Changes

If this policy changes materially before launch, we’ll note it here with a new date.
